Mario-Luca Carlucci in Guidi

Strateas.Carlucci embody the more creative realm of menswear design in Melbourne. This collaboration between Australian designers Peter Strateas and Mario-Luca Carlucci focuses on construction & tailoring to create deceptively minimalist pieces through their use of high-tech fabrics, sharp cuts and garment construction.

Fittingly, we photographed designer Mario-Luca Carlucci at the L'Oreal Fashion Festival launch at Government House a few weeks ago wearing boots by  Guidi - another independent label, this time from Italy, with a focus on craftsmanship & construction. We aim to chase the boys up for an interview some time in the near future for their unique take on men's style in Melbourne.
